Clarity, Ethics & Visitor Care

Counselling & Guidance Disclaimer

Clear expectations build trust. Please read the following practical explanation of what this website and Taksh-A-Shila’s guidance services cover — and where other forms of qualified care apply.

1. General & Educational Website Information

All articles, programme descriptions, service overviews and reflections published on the Taksh-A-Shila website are provided for general informational and educational purposes. Reading content on this website does not substitute for personalised educational, career, psychological, medical or legal consultation tailored to your specific circumstances.

2. Online Enquiry Is Not a Counselling Session or Assessment

Submitting a message through our Contact page or emailing Taksh-A-Shila is an initial administrative step to ask questions or request an appointment. An online enquiry does not, by itself, constitute a counselling session, psychological evaluation, career assessment or advocate–client relationship.

3. Non-Diagnostic & Non-Medical Scope

Taksh-A-Shila’s counselling and guidance offerings — including EQ Counselling, Parent Counselling, Teen Counselling, Family/Youth Guidance and Life Coaching — provide supportive developmental, educational, emotional-literacy and interpersonal guidance.

Website content and developmental counselling sessions do not diagnose mental health disorders, prescribe medication, or replace care from a psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, paediatrician or other licensed medical professional. Whenever medical or clinical care appears helpful, we encourage seeking qualified clinical support promptly.

4. Career Assessments & Guidance Do Not Guarantee Outcomes

Exploratory frameworks offered under Taksh-A-Shila Pathey — including Scientific Personality Analysis, Personality & Aptitude Assessment, DMIT-Based Career Counselling and Career Guidance — are reflective tools intended to broaden self-awareness and inform thoughtful conversation.

No single test or assessment method is an infallible scientific predictor of intelligence, personality or future capability. Educational admissions, examination performance, internships, placements and career outcomes depend on sustained personal effort, multiple life factors and external institutional decisions, and cannot be guaranteed.

5. Confidentiality & Safeguarding Responsibilities

Personal conversations within counselling and guidance are approached with respect and discretion. At the same time, confidentiality is always subject to applicable Indian law, parental/guardian consent considerations where minors are involved, court directions, and safeguarding responsibilities where there is a serious concern for the safety or wellbeing of a child, teenager or any other person.

6. Immediate Emergencies & Urgent Support

Taksh-A-Shila is not an emergency or 24-hour crisis service, and online messages are not monitored continuously around the clock. If you or someone you know is facing an immediate medical emergency, acute psychological distress, or risk of self-harm or harm to others, please contact local emergency services immediately (dial 112 in India), go to the nearest hospital emergency department, or reach out to a trusted family member and qualified healthcare professional right away.
